No hate to the artist, Saul Steinberg, but I didn’t like the art. This puzzle was tough to piece together as there are huge chunks of “white” under “New Yorker” and around “9th Ave” at the bottom, and the pencil sketch style (like circles standing in for cars) really made me pause and wonder what I was even looking at. So, a lot of time spent just doing trial-and-error. The pieces themselves weren’t the best quality either; the edges started to peel if I pulled too hard or too fast.
That said, I’m proud of the strategies I came up with while working on this puzzle, such as sorting by shape and color. I also have to say this: once it was done, the final artwork looked way cooler than while working on the puzzle or glancing at it on the box.
